The branch on Via Tolstoj is situated in the Giambellino neighbourhood, a particularly lively area just a stone’s throw from the blue metro line. The nursery-school was established with the aim of offering children a space for socialising, exploration and discovery – a place dedicated to growth and learning within the framework of an integrated 0–6-year-old programme with methodological continuity.

Our spaces
The spaces at Becoming Education are created by listening to the children and their needs.
At Locomotiva di Momo, the spaces go beyond the traditional concept of a ‘section’ to embrace that of a ‘system’: the children start the day in their designated section, but gradually learn to explore and make use of the entire facility, quite naturally.
In this way, the environment gives the children a sense of belonging to a unified world that they can explore with their eyes and their bodies, a world that becomes more familiar and easier to understand with each passing day.
There are places designed for socialising and others for intimate moments. Spaces that encourage movement and areas for resting. Settings that surprise and open up new possibilities, and familiar settings that offer reassurance and stability.
